Exterior Deck Ledger Attachment - DrJ TER No. 2403-114
5/16" PowerLags® XF fasteners have been tested for prescriptive solutions that are equivalent to the International Residential Code for deck ledger attachment. When installed per the technical bulletin, SPAX 5/16" PowerLags XF fasteners can be used in place of 1/2" lag screws.
Multi-Ply (Truss and Beam) Assemblies - DrJ TER No. 2410-103
PowerLags® XF have been evaluated for single-side fastening of sawn lumber and engineered wood beams. When installed per the technical bulletin, SPAX PowerLags XF can be used to confidently join and secure LVL, PSL, LSL, and Sawn Lumber multi-ply beams that can be loaded on both the head and point side of the fastener.
T-STAR PANCAKE HEAD POWERLAGS® XF
The low-profile, large diameter head design provides outstanding clamping force and improved aesthetics. Deep T-STAR drive offers excellent bit engagement without requiring a “special” driver bit. Available in 1/4”, 5/16”, and 3/8” diameters, and in lengths up to 10”. SPAX HCR® Coating is approved for use in treated lumber.
HEX WASHER HEAD POWERLAGS® XF
Provides maximum driver engagement, especially when using larger diameter/longer length parts in harder wood species. Available in 1/4”, 5/16”, and 3/8” diameters, and in lengths up to 6”. SPAX HCR® Coating is approved for use in treated lumber.

First plated with a zinc base coat and finished with a durable top coat, they’re engineered to hold up to the harshest conditions. Tested and recognized for use in ground contact pressure treated lumber for exterior, freshwater general construction applications (e.g., AWPA UC1-UC4A, UCFA).
